First Suffering Life

Born on July 7, 1991, into a farming family in the Andhra Pradesh village of Seetharamapuram, near Machilipatnam, Srikanth Bolla had vision impairments from infancy. Bolla faced several challenges as a young child because of his condition, including social prejudice and limited possibilities. Nevertheless, he persisted because he was eager to learn. The film focuses on Bolla's early hardships and his ability to use his impairment to his advantage.

EDUCATION 

He wanted to study science after matriculating in the tenth grade, but he was not allowed to. After a six-month delay, Bolla's case was finally heard, and he was given permission to pursue science at his own risk. With a 98% in his XII board exams, Bolla finished first in his class. Due to his blindness, Bolla was not allowed to enroll in coaching programs at the Indian Institute of Technology, where he intended to study engineering. He was the first international blind student to graduate with a bachelor's degree in engineering management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Bolla had pleasant recollections of his time at MIT, including coming to the United States, his first flight, and acclimating to new experiences like shower systems.
